Pacifica Radio, which broadcast live from Unity '99, and which aired a piece critical of the conference meeting in Washington state on Monday, July 12, is now approaching a full-scale, coast-to-coast rebellion. On Tuesday, July 13, 40 were arrested in Berkeley at KPFA-FM, during a discussion of the Crisis at Pacifica. On Wednesday July 14, Pacifica's "Democracy Now" was interrupted in mid-broadcast on Washington's WPFW-FM, when the program aired a discussion of the Berkeley lockdown.
